Second single release from the album. Written in Denmark, southern WA while on tour with girl A cappella group Akasa. Clark says: "The chorus arrived as I sat alone beside a lagoon at twilight. Birds silently observed…inspiration hung from the air and took me walking with my 'eyes closed down open moonlit roads'. It was a palpable flash of creation/love where you feel whole, solaced, reassured, sure footed and bullet proof (only lasts a moment). I put the song to a Brazilian ‘Maracatu' rhythm around 2011 when we started playing it live."
lyrics
Hey I like your blueprint and all it's glitches
Such a sweet, sleek design, so catchy it itches
So bright I have to squint
Your presence bitches
I want you full time
When you move my compass twitches
Let's forget ourselves tonight
Tune in via satellite
Walk with our eyes close
On open moonlit roads x 2
I like your blueprint, put together so well
Beneath your fingerprint is where I want to dwell
Let's forget ourselves tonight
Tune in via satellite
Walk with our eyes close
On open moonlit roads
A round-trip relationship, patent pending
No need for ownership, it's love unending
From my hips to my lips I've feeling bulletproof and lean
Never know when love will hit, shit it's a healing thing
I'm gonna feel it, feel it without apology
I'm gonna real it in because it's come to me
Hey I like your blueprint, put together so well
Let's install this hyperlink and stay on the carousel
Let's forget ourselves tonight
Tune in via satellite
Walk with our eyes close
On open moonlit roads
A round trip relationship, patent pending
No need for ownership, it's love unending...
Love unending, love unending, love unending....
Love, love, un-end.
