about

Sung at a duet by Diana Clark and Doug de Vries in homage to Elis and Tom.

lyrics

About - Deals with the rapid expansion of Rio de Janeiro when Notheasterners came to look for work in the new capital. The resulting Favelas in and around the spectacular topography of Rio are regularly doused by heavy rains, often in March, leaving the inhabitants at the mercy of mudslides. A song of survival.
